Hello everyone........God im having a mare!!!!!

Ok from the top..............

The replacement for "Wavelength" is "swim kids"! (not happy with this)

There are NO new pics of Kefalonia or Kos.......just the same artists impressions as in the last book...... :?

Yes I have the NEW 2007 brochure that came out today.........

I did a "mock" booking on the F/C website for a family of 5 and it accepted my booking but put us in 2 rooms!!!!!!!!!!! (really cross about this)

I will be seeing my travel agent at 9am and will see what she has to say about it all..........

Hope I covered everyones questions.......... :D

Hi All, swim kids was already in the brochures. It is a course you pay for to teach your kids how to swim. I dont see hoe this can replace the Wavelength club. Squeeky are you sure this is right?

Hi Kelly :)

I sorted my late checkout room out.
When I phoned them they said it wasn't on there and it hadn't been paid for so she added it on for me and I had a new invoice today showing the late checkout.
I double checked that the room was available till 9pm not 6pm.

Are you starting to get the jitters about your change ?
It seems as though we've swapped from The Pegasus and now theres nothing running smoothly with this place.
I still feel happier going here than there though. At least its not stuck in the middle of nowhere so if need be we can go elsewhere for a bit of decent entertainment or a meal (we hope  )

Hi alex, iam glad you sorted the late check out room out! They are a godsend on late flights!

Hi Firebird :)
I wouldn't of booked it if there wasn't a late checkout available.
Its bad enough hanging around all day but we'll have 2 & 4 year olds with us so the late checkout is extra important.

I agree with firebird though about the swim club , it is already provided at an extra charge just hoping that someone has made a mistake, I wil contact FC tomorrow to see what I can find out. Hi buzz you will be on same flight as us then are you far from Manchester? Lets all hope that we can get some answers these next few days, if not the first people to go will be telling us all.

Ok sorry guys.......(bearing in mind im following Kefalonia mainly.....)

So yes, Kos was advertising Swim Kids And Wavelength but Kefalonia was ONLY offering Wavelength........
In the new 2007 brochure......BOTH Kos & Kef ONLY have Swim kids logo's. And Wavelength has also been removed from ALL the new "Aqua Clubs" that they are advertising to open in 2007 ie: Corfu (again), Rhodes & Crete! Hope tha cleared things up and sorry for the confusion!
So to confirm.......NO Aqua Beach Clubs have Wavelength in the new 2007 brochure!

Ok.....F/C said this morning that as far as they are aware there is still 5 bed suites but if it changes then they will contact me accordingly!!!!!
Also.......Wavelength is still listed for this year but again if anything changes they will call me!
Hope this helps and sorry for any worry caused......

Hi, so theres no need for me to rush out this morning for a copy of the new brochure to check out the latest pics then? When I went to FC Holiday Village last year the Wavelength was a proper kids club, whereas Swim Kids was something you paid for it basically is a one on one swimming lesson thing spread over a few days, its NOT a kids club at all. Im confused now as to what will be on offer for our kids, when I phoned last week I was told that all the family plus stuff ie, clubs and entertainment were all going to be available.

As for the KABC being near to bars and restaurants, Ive got a feeling its going to be in the middle of nowhere just like the pegasus, we have family who go to Kos twice a year for the god knows how many years, and they always stay in Tingaki (they go again end of may) and they said that they only place that a hotel this big (to accomodate waterslides etc) that was on beach front would have to be near some salt mines quite a distance out of main resort, they may be wrong, in fact I hope they are wrong!

Maybe the bedroom sleeping 5 etc is going to be spread over 2 rooms and connected via interconnecting doors, we had this at a thompson hotel in Paphos so your kids can sleep in one room and have the door between the two rooms kept open. Thats all I can think off.

Iits 8 weeks 6 days till we go and I have to pay it next weds.

Hi Michelle! We have been to Tingaki several times before. Our understanding is that the hotel is being built a couple of miles outside Tingaki on the seafront towards Lambi. This is in the opposite direction from the Salt lakes (not mines). I reckon it is walkable in less than a half hour (depending how quick you walk) into Tingaki proper. There are quite a lot of decent restaurants and bars there. There are Taxis available from just off the roundabout on the seafront to get a ride back to the hotel. Should not cost more than a couple of Euros' i guess. I think the whole Wavelength kids club issue is perhaps a mis-understanding that has been blown up by our lack of trust in FC. All the First Choice Holiday Villages and resorts like the Aqua Beaches have the kids clubs. I cant imagine that there will be none of this!

Hi Firebird Apache, thanks for that info, im going to be hiring a car whilst out there this year so not to worried about distance anyway, you are right FC wont dare open a huge complex like this without kids clubs! Ive got so worried and stressed over this holiday the last few weeks ive decided now im just going to go and have a good time regardless, the way I see it is expect the worst and things can only be better, But I wont book again with FC.

oops nearly forgot, what is the beach like where you think its going to be built? is it shingle or proper sand? thanks Michelle

F/C told me that this year all kids clubs would be up & running. Next year they are pulling the Wavelength!

Hi guys
Bear in mind that squeeky is looking at 2007 brochure. Just because certain things have been pulled for next year doesn't necessarilly mean they won't be in place this year.

In understand people don't fully trust FC but if I was running the show I think it would be easier and cheaper in the long run to give people what they have paid for than risk the huge number of complaint, compensation and damage to reputation.

I hope it all goes well for you all.

back from FC they say that Wavelength is still going ahead this year so phew!! also still on track to open 24th May.
So mind at rest for now.
