We have found a cheap week to Tunisia, but have just realised that our passports are due to be renewed in June and July, would this be a problem at immigration?
I know some countries require you to have 6 months left on a passport, but not sure if Tunisia is one of them! Would hate to book, pay and then discover we can't go without a load more expense to renew them early!
Plus, we've never been to Tunisia before, would people recommend having the jabs? (im not keen!)

Im sure you will need 6 months or more on your passport as its not part of the EU.
Your passport does have to be valid for 6 months on return from tunisia.
Vaccinations..Hepetitis A,Diphtheria,Teranus and Polio are recommended but not required,

We have travelled to Spain a couple of times and only had a few weeks left on our passports.

We saw a good deal which was leaving April 30th for a week, but after due consideration, we're not able to renew our passports that soon, and so a cheap deal would turn into a 'not so cheap deal' once we were forced to do that early... therefore, not such a good idea as it turns out!

can anyone help please were going to tunisia in july and just wondered if the kids need there own passports as there on the dads at the moment as they are 12-15 and dont get renewed till april next year just to put my mind at rest could anyone help
If they are on their dad's passport, then i believe that is fine until they reach 16 or the passport needs renewing, only then would they have to have a passport of their own...

Hi, I have my daughter on my passport and I have been told that its fine until she reaches 16 or until I need to renew my passport, whichever comes first. Mine needs renewing next year so she will have her own then too.

Can I suggest that you check the official answer on that. My son was on my passport and my daughter was on her mother's. My daughter went on a school trip to France so had to have her own, for some reason before our Tunisia trip 2004/5 we got a seperate one for my son.
Now I don't like spending money for no reason so I think that we were told that he should have his own. My 10 year one expires 2007 so that was not the reason.

thanks guys just cheaked the passport site and it says they can stay on the passport till its due for renewel thanks alot for the help
hi everyone going to tunisia in july and have booked my flight tickets as cheryl evans however my passport has my middle name on so reads cheryl rose evans do you think this will matter
