No advice re apartments (sorry) ...... BUT ....... re the bus/ taxi to Archangelos - there is one bus out daily at about 9am and one bus back at about 4pm. (or there was last year) taxis don't routinely drive through but most of the hotels/tavernas or bars will order you one - if you do this it will be one coming from Lindos so remember you need to pay for it to get down to Stegna as well as back out again! or you can catch one on its way back if someone has been dropped off. Loiter by the German Hotel at the end of the beach road!
We were told that the locals will give you a lift up if you hitch (we didn't!)
You could walk but it is very steep and lengthy!
Archangelos is a nice little town to while away a few hours or go drinking or clubbing at (there are a couple of late night club/drinking dens! - ask Chris at Mercedes bar for his recommendations) There is also a lovely church to visit there and the souvenir shops are less expensive than Lindos!

Great info from Greeklass....all I wanted to add is that I would not contemplate staying in Stegna without having hired a scooter or small car. You will only walk up that steep road once ! Reckon you could spend a small fortune on taxi fares. Having said that, the place is a small paradise with a lovely beach with clean water with a few good places to eat. The local people are very friendly. The accommodation/apartments line the beach front and all look fairly modern and in good condition. The place would suit someone who is looking for a very restfull holiday and who is not prepared to see much of the island.

Are there any ATMs or money changing facilities in Stegna? Cheers.

No no ATM but the hotel/s will change money as will the car hire lady and also Christos at Mercedes Bar will do on occasions.
Your travel rep might be able to do it for you too.
Nearest ATM in Archangelos. (up the Biiiiig hill!)
