massive site, about 20 mins walk from town but an hours drive from florence. the site has 2 swimming pool complexes,1 for kids with chutes & a lazy river, it is fab!!, lots of sun decks, a gym, a supermarket, paper shop, 3 restaurants .a pizza take away, an ice cream shop, 2 bars.graet site, even gas arunning track, parks & a v.small selection of animals.the town nearby,. figline valdarno, has supermarkets, a market etc.
Hi, we considered this site a little while ago and thought it looked lovely, but we didn't book it in the end as there didn't seem to be much there to occupy the kids apart from the pools. It doesn't seem to have crazy golf or trampolines etc which you often get at other large sites. The on-site facilities seem to be geared more for adults. Do you think there is much there for young teens and school age children to do? The site looks so gorgeous I would love to give it a go if I though there was enough things to keep the kids busy. Thanks.
Thank you very much for your comments. Did you find it expensive to eat out - and was the on-site shop reasonable in price? We went to Castell Montgri last year and I was wondering how it might compare to that. Spain was quite reasonable to eat out and there were 2 supermakets nearby which were cheap so we didnt have to use the on-site one if we didnt fancy a short walk. (Although the on-site shop was very good). Thanks again. Enjoy your holiday
