Hi Bri

Where are you staying, what are your interests and have you got a hire car? We loved Tuscany, the countryside is beautiful and there are some lovely hill towns, gardena and villas and loads of history to see. We stayed near Vinci (where Leonardo came from) which is between Florence and Pisa, both of which are well worth a visit, as is San Giminiano, Siena, etc. If you're driving, just take your time and make sure you are in a proper car park in places like Florence (we got a parking ticket!). I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.

We are staying in the southern part of tuscany, by Lucignano, near to sienna, we intent to visit all the town/cities. I supose Im looking for something not so obvious or just some general hints and tips as I never been to Italy. I'd not heard of San Giminiano, so I'll take a look

Tahnks for the info Maria
