First choice have allowed us to change our holiday because of the Flight changes we fly from Glasgow on 19th July. Now thinking of going to the Miraluna in Rhodes. Anyone been there? Did think of the Pegasos Palace but it is rather cheap so I keep thinking there must be something wrong with it. Any advice would be greatly received. Still extremelly p***ed off as I will have to pay more money no matter what and probably won't get the facilities same as the Kos Aqua Beach Club should have.

Hiya Cookies. We're going (at least supposed to be going!!) to Kos 31st May and had looked at the Pegasos as an alternative if we needed to change. However, having read some reviews it seems they have a mozzie problem there. A work colleague was booked to go end of May and has now changed because of it, even the first choice travel agent told her it had spoiled her holiday when she visited there! Don't want to sway you but thought it might be something to consider.......

morning all - welcome to the thread all the newbies, only 23 days to go till KABC opens. Correct me if im wrong but wasnt there a building inspector for FC going out to Kos around about now? If so I think if we can get through the next week without any calls or letters we will all be ok.

I also agree that I booked this hotel because of the facilities, the waterpark, the wave pool, the kids clubs (although my kids can take or leave them - the kids club that is) the entertainment day and night, if I wasnt bothered about these things I would have chosen a different hotel. I expect to get what I am paying for ie what is advertised, we all have different outlooks on life the world would be a sad place is we were all the same, unfortunately I was one of those born a worrier and do get a bit stressed out, I wish I could be a little more like those of you who are more relaxed and laid back.

Anyway who is going around 14th June with a 9-11yr old that was to contact my daughter, my eldest (14) already has made contact with someone, now dd2 is feeling left out!

There are four of us with a 9 year old and 2 year old - both girls.

I am sure my eldest would be happy to chat with your daughter if she is of similar age and doesn't mind the fact that you will have already been there a week before we arrive (assuming you are going for two weeks that is).

Hi all. Have also checked out the price of our holiday, and yes a couple of days ago it was costing £3290. Today its £2448 but we are still quids in so i'm happy. The only reason I can think of, is that people are cancelling and cheaper rooms are becoming available. On a positive note, when you do book it does not mention anything about the water sports just the horse riding and the downgrading situation. So I guess they have sorted that out. Is anybody flying from Birmingham on the 28/06.

we too are on that flight river! not long now...I have just booked for the same fortnight next year in the dominican 5star ai and it looks absolutely fabulous for £200 than i have paid for kabc and my daughter will be 12 then... am absolutely mortified that i have paid so much for this and what the prices are coming up at now, but at the time i booked the prices were soaring up day by day and there was not a lot of availability for that fortnight. I thought someone was going to post new pics on this week for us all to see?

another coincidence.... we went to Dom Rep 5 Star last year, (was a great holiday tough not really 5 star). Even the flight wasn't too bad with 4 kids. Apart from us getting diverted to the wrong airport on the way there.
We went to Serenis Cocotal (go on debbies dominican pages for reviews and pics of all hotels in Dom Rep)

right just eventually got a reply from FC

situation as follows,

their computer system has been cleared in the last couple of days and mis information has been put onto it inadvertantly. also their email system has been deleting incoming messages and keeping spam.

spoke to a really helpful chap in CS - the hotel will definately be ready and running for 24th may.

the watersports are scheduled to be available (computer error stating that it wasnt)

only the horse riding is cancelled.

he will look into my email i sent on sunday (which he now confirms that he has received) and reply to me today. i have asked him for a refund for change of star rating 4* to 3* so watch this space!!!! (he didnt seem to be too purtubed about this and certainly didnt say no immediately.)

ive just been trying to make a dummy booking for july 12, yesterday there were several rooms around that time , now it seems they have all gone, have they had lots of new bookings today, or have they realised there are not that many rooms being built as they thought, nothing would supprise me, im sure that i heard that there was ment to be a surveyer or someone going there today,

we went to mexico last year river it was amazing!!! weve booked an iberostar and the reviews are really good in the dom... Im quite chirpy now as my daughter has just rang to tell me she has spoken to fc (again) and i have been booked into a double room with inter connecting door. Never requested this but at the time there wasnt much left for the 24th, anyway apparently weve got a king size bed but to change it over for a basic room it would cost me £50 pp ???? anyway she just rang to see if there was any more info but theyre insisting everything is on track!!! Im thinking that i might have a few drinkies at the airport anyway just to be on the safe side! .

im in full swing holiday mood now, just brought some hawaian tropic body butter which smells lush cant wait to use it now. Notice we havent heard anymore from Matt our resident entertainer, probably practising his moves and warming up his voice lol

ik heb vandaag contact met kidsworld gehad en de datum is verschoven
naar 1juni de openingsdatum wij gaan pas 20 juli maar als het 1 juni
nog niet af is ga ik ook omboeken en hoop dan maar dat ze nog wat
hebben want ik wil niet naar turkye en kidsworld heef niet zo heel veel
hotels dus dan is nog maar de vraag is er dan wel iets op dezelfde
datum oke maar het is dus weer verzet en de foto's zijn echt van het
park dat heeft ze toegegeven en die liegen er niet om!!!!!!!!!!!!!
