Hi sioux
Yes you can get semi skimmed milk in Lindos. I have seen it in cartons in supermarkets colour coded green like over here. I think it was called Noy Noy but that may be a trade name.
The local beer is called Mythos, very passable. Also Amstel is widely available and one or two beers whose names are recognisable from over here.
Cigarattes are widely available in supermarkets, bars etc. Local brands are very cheap. Also English brands are widely available.
There are supposedly 42 restaurants in Lindos including an indian, a chinese, an italian pizzeria and of course greek. Med East on the steep road out of the main square does a pork in plum sauce dish that is superb. But there will be somewhere for most tastes and budgets in the village

A couple of places where I've eaten regularly over the years are the Symposio where Mikalis and his sister always make you feel really welcome, hope they're still there this year and also the Acroplis view food's always been good there. If you're up for a top notch english breakfast anytime try bettys breakfasts at the Lindian Apollo they are absolutely the best, guaranteed you won't need to eat again till the evening.Bettys husband George also makes the most lethal shorts and cocktails you'll ever drink, really nice people.

Hi Sioux :D

Yes Noy Noy is a trade name and it's a long life milk but you can get semi skimmed fresh milk - if you can't see it ask for half fat milk.
Cigarettes are available in all supermarkets and there are plenty in Lindos - no need to shop around as they are sold at set prices.

Some of my favourite restaurants are -
Aphrodite (across from Lindian Apollo) for the friendliest hostess and best veggie moussaka.
Ambrosia (across from Giorgos Sports Bar) ultra smart, classy venue and great fish - cooked to perfection and filleted at the table.
Mavrikos (Main Square) the oldest restaurant in Lindos and the only one with a Michelin star. An expensive option but a real treat, well worth it.
Dionysos (carry on past Ambrosia/Giorgos and it's straight ahead) was voted the best restaurant in Lindos on the Lindian Way. They have an amazingly vast choice on the menu.

The other two post recommendations i've also tried, Med East was great and Symposio is very nice (especially if you get a table on the small front terrace, overlooking the street).
