Just checked review on another site review mixed apparently pool small they used pool next door Excelsior Hotel

Was once known as the Chuchaliga .It is up a steep hill it is now in partner with the Excelsior .Also next to the Slavi .It was refurbished a few years back .My brother stayed in it and he liked it only thing was rooms were small .It has its own pool but you can also use the Excelsior pool just across the road. Hi, The Sunrise is up a small road off of Party street heading up towards the Police station any reviews I have seen are mixed.

I have never been in it but have walked past it a few times looked ok.

We stayed at the excelsior in 2004. It was not our choice, our hotel had not been built only Balkans did not tell us. We found out 4 weeks before we went by accident and they refused to refund us. Our only option was to go to the excelsior.
We shared facilities with the Sunrise. We found there were more english in Sunrise, Excelsior was mainly german. I believe the rooms were small. It is on a steep hill, but if you get a sea view it is magnificent. Not good for buggies as paths were not good. There is a shuttle bus down to beach (resort centre) but the last one is 4pm.
Clean hotel, has indoor pool as well as outdoor. Can also use Excelsior.
Food was OK, quite good choice - daughter impressed as they did vegetarian option. Restaurant in Sunrise was bigger and better.
