hi calabonagirl

i can't praise the bonamar enough :D

like i said we have booked already for next year .....can't wait ! we are going out 30th june

you can book direct with the hotel but i'm not too sure how many they keep back from thomsons.
their website is http://www.protur-hotels.com if you have your flights already booked then i know you will be saving alot of money by doing DIY ( i wish we had now ! )

hi gail :wave

to be honest with you not very good :tdown

as from next year thomsons are making it an "over 16's hotel only" ie; they will not except bookings from under 16's!
i know it is poss to book direct with protur and they will except children. :)

(long story....... friends of ours booked about 8 weeks ago with thomsons to return to the bonamar next year and then about 3 weeks ago they recieved this information about their new policy so got their deposit back and now have booked direct with the hotel.) thomsons website will not let you proceed further with the booking as soon as you try to give the childrens ages !

anyway back to your original question there is no kids clubs/discos and just a small kiddies pool and this year there was a very small climbing frame thingie!

when we was there all what we saw was only about 4/5 under 7 year old's
and maybe 2/3 7-16 year old's.

this hotel is very much for couples/friends....IMO

hope this helps you

Hi everyone - my mum and her friend absolutely love this hotel and were there again at the end of May/beginning of June for the 15th time running!! Next year, however, they will be going to the Alicia as the Bonamar is working out at over £720 each for them flying from Exeter at the end of May - booked the Alicia via Portland far cheaper, which they like almost as much. They love Cala Bona and wouldn't go anywhere else.

pargaluvva, the Bonaire in Cala Bona (also a Protur hotel) is a Thomson Superfamily and very good for kids.
