going to grand resort on Friday 7th July and received letter from airtours advising me of work taking place outside the hotel. Customers will mainly be affected exiting or entering the property due to JCB's digging holes in the road. Anyone else heard anything.

Off for a week at the grand resort hurghada from 9th Feb, 1st time in egypt for us so it's fingers crossed. Anyone have views on this Hotel?

Also need to find a Taxi from the Airport to the Grand Resort, Any do's or dont's as far as this is concerned?

Arrived home on Saturday from Grand and have already booked to go back in April. As usual we had a wonderful time and the weather was gorgeous.

The work to pave the road infront of the hotel is complete except finishing touches. The main pool was being renovated whilst we were there but noise from the beach and other pool was minimal.

Anyone been to this hotel, if so when staying in a junior suite do you know what type of bed the children sleep in also do you need to take towels and is their air conditoning, we are going in July so it will be hot, so many questions i know but i like to be prepared

Hi, When you arrive you will find a beach bag and towels in the room. Towels are exchanged every evening. The rooms are fully airconditioned. Sorry, can't answer about the third bed but imagine it would be a 'proper' bed not a fold down.
