My wife always likes to try a hairdresser when we are on holiday,however Candolim was a disaster,the girl,although very nice and helpful,had absolutely no idea how to do hair ! that is she knew how to do eastern hair.but not anyone from the uk.
A Mobile Hairdresser would make a killing in any of the popular resorts,all the women at our hotel said they would be interested if there had been one this year.
If you go again tell her to go to "Simply Beautiful" near to the Lacoste shop in Calangute. It is owned by a Russian Lady and she has brought a couple of hairdressers over with her who are very good.
can someone tell me how much it costs to have your hair washed and blow dried and what time does the salon stay open to also does it cost much more to have it done in your hotel ..
I had a manicure, pedicure and special facial - 3 hours in total and it cost 500rps and my nails were not just painted - it was a proper manicure which took an hour. Very good value for money.
They open at 10 a.m. and close about 8 p.m. depending what day it is.
