My wife always likes to try a hairdresser when we are on holiday, however Candolim was a disaster, the girl, although very nice and helpful, had absolutely no idea how to do hair ! that is she knew how to do eastern hair.but not anyone from the uk.
A Mobile Hairdresser would make a killing in any of the popular resorts, all the women at our hotel said they would be interested if there had been one this year.

:omg

If you go again tell her to go to "Simply Beautiful" near to the Lacoste shop in Calangute. It is owned by a Russian Lady and she has brought a couple of hairdressers over with her who are very good.

My friend payed 700rps for a cut and blow dry at Simply Beautiful and it was very good. I have short hair and the Sai barber in Candolim trims mine for 60 rps
I had a manicure, pedicure and special facial - 3 hours in total and it cost 500rps and my nails were not just painted - it was a proper manicure which took an hour. Very good value for money.
They open at 10 a.m. and close about 8 p.m. depending what day it is.
