I usually do it approximately two weeks before I go, as thats when the majority of Tour Ops sort their rooming lists.
What are the chances of getting a sea view room if i request it? anyone know? never asked before
There are supplements for sea view rooms, where are you staying and did you book one?
We always visit the Capo Bay hotel in Protaras and always email them requesting a certain room,if you ask the hotel if they can possibly upgrade you because its your wedding anniversary, birthday something like that if they have availabilty they normally will try and oblige, give it a go,see how you get on.
Staying at the Brilliant Apartments in Protaras, just trying to be cheeky really xxx
Gunngirl,I would deffinatley ask, youve got nothing to loose.
We stop at the Iliada beach hotel in Protaras and always book for the following year before the hotel shuts down for the winter, I tried to book last year four weeks before intending to travel only to find the hotel had no rooms available but the hotel gave me the details of the tour operators that had room reserved but had yet to confirm a booking, I was fortunate and was able to book accommodation only with the tour operator
I then e-mail the hotel to request a sea view room and received an e-mail to confirm that my request would be fulfilled

Hi Gunngirl! When are you staying at the Brilliant? We're staying there 2 weeks today ......can't wait! (we`ve already e mailed them asking for a top floor room, they replied saying that they will do their best! )
I'm staying at the Sunrise beach in August and had heard that some of the rooms are quite noisey depending on what side your on. I'm thinking of emailing and requesting the quiet side or a full sea view(if feeling particularly cheeky) Wasn't sure if it was worth doing just now as my holiday company might not even have passed my name to them yet. Plus what do you say? Any advice?
We are staying at the Brilliant 4 weeks today! are you flying with thomas cook airways by any chance? can you let me know what its like there? read very good reviews i would like a sea view really, it will just top it all off
Tour operators pass on details a couple of weeks beforehand, so that's the best time to email them and ask.

Thanks Kezzabelle. Thanks for that. Will it not be a bit late to leave it till a few weeks before I go?
I did mine 2-3 weeks before and it was fine. You could always email and follow up with a phone call, they're ever so friendly there
Sure you will be fine, we asked for a high floor room near the front of the hotel and that's what we got.
would you say the front of the hotel would be the best area to get? Is that the beach side? I'm looking for the quietest bit
I'll PM you craig
