It's years since I used my tongs with the cylinders in them, however now back to them again and need to know if they can go in my luggage? I know they can't go in the hand luggage, but it looks as if they may be banned altogether now:
For safety reasons, there are a number of items that cannot be taken onto any aircraft, so please do not pack them in any luggage (hand or hold):
Flammable liquids and solids.
Oxidisers such as bleaching powders.
Organic peroxides.
Tear gas devices or any gas cylinders.
