glad you had a good one. Noticed the Greek phrase at the bottom of your post. Did you pick up a few. I've been trying to learn a few phrases on-line and thought I was doing quite well until we arrived at Corfu a fortnight ago ( I'd forgotten loads). I have been trying to learn for 3 years you can try and learn through books or some of the listen and speak disc's however many will not tell you such as an item in Greek can be male - female- or neutral so one of something if male or neutral is Ena but if female mIa (the caps mean use the harsh pronunciation) but if more than one femail reverts to neutral therefore
mIa micros i bIra parakalo is one small beer please but tEsera mEgalos i bIra parakalo is 4 large beers please..

we had a great team of sErvitOros (waiters) who like people to try and if they had time to correct you then made you repeat you order when brought to the table my pronunciation improved vastly over one week i can only think what i may have learned if we had another week
