Just back from a lovely holiday in Cala Galdana, we stayed at the Galdana Palms Villas, which were excellent, it is a home away from home, you even get BBC 1, 2, ITV, SKY NEWS, Cebeebies, etc on the telly. The location was great, right at the end of the road, next to the bird sanctury, very peacefull, but only a 5 min walk along to the bars etc. The villa had its own pool which was lovely, although it was deep, 1.5m all round. It was quiet when we were there, only because it was the beginning of season, the beach was lovely, the sea was turquiose blue, a very beautiful place. The weather was warm and sunny, just right, but it did get a bit windy sometimes. In the evening, it was a bit chilly, so take a light coat or cardi. If you smoke, you will not find a Tabac shop in resort, you will have to travel on the bus to Ferreries, which is a 10 min ride, but remember that they have siestas and are shut in the afternoon. The other Tabac shops in Mahon and Ciutadella, had big Queues!
