We went to the Nou Camp last September. We arrived about 2:30 pm, and made our own way round the stadium, although there are guides situated all over the stadium, and will answer any questions you may have. I wish we had arrived quite a bit earlier, as although we were there well over 3 hours, we could have spent a lot longer there as theres so much to see, so i would advise you to get there as early as possible. It cost about £8 i think and is well worth the money.
Tours run all day. When you buy a ticket they will give you a time slot for your tour. Slot is normally within an hour which means you have time to look round the megastore, etc. If you are going in September, the season will have started, and you can hopefully go to a match. We went last September on a tour from our hotel in Llorett and the experience was fantastic.
We turned up there about lunchtime. The tours are all day- there was a huge queue for tickets but it did move quite quickly. I went to humour husband but actually really enjoyed it!
Can anybody tell me if there are any companies in Malgrat offering excurtions to the match (including tickets), & if so how I can contact them
Many thanks
why not contact your hotel , saying that you are booked to stay with them during whatever dates and that you would be very interested in going to the football and see what they can do for you , try booking direct with the nu camp
Barcelona F.C v Athletico Madrid 02/09/07
cheapest tickets are 90euro's a ticket. you can book and pay online.
Its easy enough to get to Barcelona from Malgrat but i am not sure about train times for coming back
The getting back to Malgrat was our worry, don't fancy having to pay for a taxi!!
We don't normally use organised trips, usually relying on public transport, but thought that if there was a company that did all in excurtions (travel & tickets), it would make life easier.
I am in Malgrat that weekend and am thinking of going to the match (other half doesnt know yet ).I found a website selling tickets for 40 euros but a friend who has been told me it is easy to get tickets in Barca for around 20 euros.Dont know what time the KO is (Spanish football can ko as late as 9.00) but the last train back to Malgrat is around 10.30.
cheers dave
Barca have a match with Inter Milan on 29 Aug but the k.o. is 22:00. I would like to take my daughter (10). We will be staying in Calella and am concerned about being able to get back after the game. Does anyone have any tips?
i think the only way you could get back from the game is taxi which would probs cost you about 100 euros or even more they might charge more
the last train to callela is about 10.20pm but you ve got to get 2 tubes before you get the train unless your names david blane dont think you ll make it
cheers dave
I was in the Maripins, and the shop is 300 - 400 yards towards Santa Susana, down some steps.
The match they were advertising was Athletico Bilbao and the prices were 75 euros for the gods, 150 euros for the next best seats, and 200 euros for the best seats. These were per person & included tickets, coach travel & a tour guide. The cost varies for each match, depending on the opposition
But after all my searching, I couldn't make it to the game after all as they had only the really expensive ones left, and I couldn't really afford 400 euros for the 2 of us
Look for a Caixa with a big yellow machine just at the entrance of the bank. Insert your creditcard and choose English. You will only have to follow instructions from there. The beauty of the system is that you can choose your seats.
Transport back is the biggest issue, as the last train leaves Barcelona early. To go from Camp Nou to train station Sants will at least take you 20 minutes. I would recommend taking the train to Barcelona and a taxi back.
If the hotel has an organised trip with transport then make sure you get good seats. I recommend trying to find seats on the first or second ring. Camp Nou is very big. When you are sitting on the third ring you will hardly recognise the players
The reason for my original post was to see if there was anywhere that did "all inclusive" trips, ie tickets & coach travel to & from Malgrat, hence not needing to worry about travelling back, the tour operator that I found did this
Were going to Barcelona by train from Calella, but again can't seem to find where this line stops in Barcelona to get on the relevant metro line.
I've looked at the maps and the Camp Nou site says L3 or L5 but not which stations.
I have tried but not getting anywhere
Any help will be fab!!!
Train from Malgrat to Sants Station, upstairs to exit and acces METRO L5 three stops takes you to Collblanc Metro Station full info on trains re next stop etc.
When you alight from the metro train there are two exits on the platfom go to the rear exit, although there is not a great deal in it but it is a few hundred metres closer.
I do not know the names of the streets but in simple terms you go right then make your way round to the left when you can then see the footbal complex unfotunately you have to walk al the way round the stadium to gain acces to it rather like a large roundabout.
A ten / fifteen minute walk and there are plenty bars shops and people to ask directions.
regards
Pars fan
