Hi depends on your age/what ur into etc.

I am fairly young (so i think) family man with wife two daughters.

We enjoyed it, went out each night to few British pubs within few hundred yards of the hotel ('smugglers' for happy hours (was 7-9) and quiz/karaoke and 'comics' for happy hour/quiz aetc-good laugh/prizes. 'Highlander' pub just down road few yards did great breakfast if you fancy a change..massive/lovely and british stuff. Dont get me wrong i like food in hotel, but my little on just fancied a scottish roll and square sliced sausage, si we joind in and got the full monty on few occassions...also another bar next to highlander.'rio's'or something..sold nice chilled magners cider..
port area lovely, and could walk to the 'strip in 1/2 hr or so, but taxi was bes, around 5 euros..cheap man...

we had excellent time at hotel, and snacks etc very worth the money and nice stuff.good varity of drinks/beer etc...very well priced.

Thanks Shoestring, sounds like a good location. Would you be able to tell me what the hotel room was like, and the bathroom etc? It's only because I can't really find any information about it!! Just to have a bit of an idea before I go.

im due to go 2 alcudia in the beginning of august, Ive never been there before, has anyone stayed in the Hotel Alcudia, i cant find many reviews on it, just a couple of bad ones. Was wondering if anyone has anything good to say about it?

Me my Husband and 2 Daughters stayed in Hotel Alcudia last year.
We had a great time and really enjoyed it. The Hotel is very central to the old town, where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. We liked the Drunkin Duck and Smugglers.
The Hotel itself is clean, food was good. Plenty to do, my Daughters joined in with the pool games most days and my youngest loved the kids club. Every night they had a mini disco and entertainment afterwards, however we went out everty night.

thanks thats great help, really excited, kids cant wait either. Ive read a lot of good reviews,however a few bad ones 2,the pool was one in particular,that it was too small for the number of guests?what do u think?

Hi , one more thing,my family of 4 is staying in the hotel, do they give studio's or one bedroomed apartments?

well i suppose pool was n't the biggestwe had seen, but did the purpose for us and two kids (13 and 9 ate time)..they were in pool all day and we either had lounger or seats at tables.

We normally stay at the Condesa De La Bahia but as we want a late booking (next week) they have no four bedded rooms
