Shhh, don't tell everybody - they'll all want to go

We were there the first week in May last year (also in the Sonia studios0 and loved the place - ideal for those of us that like the quiet life. News is getting out though, I recommended it to a friend who had trouble getting in there. Hope it manages to stay unspoiled.

Just been looking at Stoupa or Finikounda. Do the Sonia all have a good view please, thought I read some look at a wall. What did you think of the Sirius or Finisia hotel. Did you come across those at all. We can't decide between the two resorts, would you recommend a particular one at all. Always travel with Kosmar, Skiathos, Skopelos, Crete, Corfu Kefalonia Zante, Rhodes but these two resorts look lovely and quiet

The Sonia studios are just across the road from the sea - the apartments at the front of the building have a lovely sea view. Ours was at the side and had a side view of the sea from the balcony and looked out over fields and gardens to the back of the village.

Finikounda is quieter than Stoupa - I loved Stoupa too but liked Finikounda even more. There are some lovely places to explore, if you hire a car. Here are some pictures from my visit - the first one is taken from just across the road from the Sonia studios.

thank you very much for that reply, we are just waiting to see if the prices drop a little, charging u occupancy at the moment for some of them. Have just returned from a week in the Canaries so hoping to get something booked next week, they seem to drop a little then.
