I know what you mean by the bathroom thing, abroad it so different, they even have plugs in the bathroom, at the hawaii each room only has one plug and one plug in the bathroom!
good Idea trying to sort your room allocation out before you go, i found the reception staff quite amenable, just hope your not facing the building site on the back of the hotel.
the only negative about a low floor is that the hawaii has a footpath/promenade on two side, which is used by the clubbing brigade comming back to their hotels so can be a little noisey in the early hours especially if its peak season
Well ill be with my partner, 1 year old daughter, my parents and sister and her partner so if u see us shout!!!!
I think he will like the kids club, Abby the entertainer is really good with them.
Think i will wait and see what we get, i really dont like heights at all so will not venture out on to the balcony if it is more than 4 or 5 floors high. I didnt book a sea view due to the extra cost i think it was around £100 more for the sea view room when i booked. Will have to send hubby to sort them out if we get a poor room
there is only one side of the hotel that doesn have sea view rooms and overlooks the road and the building of a new hotel....not too bad really but is directly over the shortcut foot path that runs past the hotel main entrance
i contacted the hotel and asked for their email address,
i hope this is right:
8.hawaii@teleline.es
i did read it back to her and she said that was correct.
hope that helps and would love to hear about the hotel. we are going in 9 weeks time. take lots of pics and find which is the best room to have etc.
we are going half board, we are debating on whether to up it to all inclusive but the reports that have been posted on the hotel reveiw have not been good with the food.
Was quoted 25 euro by the hotel to upgrade to all inclusive, from H/Board, bit expensive if you ask me.Will wait to we get there to see what they offer then.
Hobo
hi kizzycat & hobo email hotel and ask to apply an amigo card you get 25% off everything it takes a while for your card to come through but they email you the number we go on the 21 July for a week all inclusive
Suppose it will be too late for me to aaply for one, never heard of them, are they only to use for all inclusive discount?
Anyone know about the dress code for evening meals please tell me that men dont have to wear long pants, i have only just thought of this, when we went to Benidorm last year shorts were not allowed but the 3/4 ones were.
the only restriction for evening meals is that you cant go into the dining room without a top on, apart from that anything goes.
Thanks, dont think i will be trying to walk in without a top on
hi yorkshire rose you can use your amigo card for anything in hotel sea veiw halfboard al etc i think it will be to late for you to apply for one. apply for one when you get there you can use it in all intertur hotel's have a great holiday
I have just applied for my amigo card (thanks for that murgy) we are now hoping to upgrade to all inclusive and get 25% off the price of that so that should be 18.75 euro per day instead of 25 euro per day. quite a good saving.
we have booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 1 child but would ideally like one of the rooms to have 2 adults and 2 kids and another room 2 adults. will we be able to fit the beds? do you think they will be alright about that?
have been looking on the hotel reveiws but only 2 reviews in 2006 and they dont really say much about the refurb.
could you also tell me if the all inclusive is a card or a wristband
Regarding the all inclusive, i wouldnt pay for it at all, we were going to do it a few years back but when you look in to it, there are only certain foods you can eat and only at certain times etc its not like you can eat and drink all day all night.
Ill post a reply in a couple of wks!!!
Am at the Hawaii now i would not bother with all inclusive as the food is not very good. There is only so many rooms that can fit 4 beds in as far as i know.
Websites do inidicate that you can have 4 beds but dont expect any privacy or much wardrobe space to put all your clothes.
sorry to hear that the food is not so good. hope the weather is good for you.
did they offer the all inclusive to you any cheaper when you arrived?
There was a big improvement in the meal tonight, AI was not offered to us on arrival havent spoken to anyone who is on it as of yet. The weather is brilliant bit chilly on a night. The rooms are quiet basic not had a lot of improvements, i dont have a hairdrier in my room but other people i have spoke to have. Am on the first floor overlooking the building site but have not noticed any noise on a night as of yet. Need to get up early for sunbeds not many at all.
hi yorkshire rose thank you for info hope the food gets better were going all-inclusive i might lose a few pounds if the foods not that good is there plenty of entertainment in hotel and surrounding area's for children have a a good time
hi kizztcat sorry i thought it was 25% off with amigo card when do you go to Hawaii
