off to puerto pollensa in 23 days and cant wait , can anyone reccomend any nice places to eat .also what are the prices like
mo
We have visited Puerto Pollensa for the last 4 years and would recommend the folowing, Manduccas for pizzas, Tolo's on the sea front, about a 10 minute walk along the road to Alcudia, Nico's, the mexican towards the sea front, not the one on the main square. The Ivy Garden was very good but disappointed last year and expensive. The R bar about 2 away from Manduccas has a nice atmosphere and does really good cocktails. Neptunes for Tapas is good. You will be spoilt for choice and you will be able to eat out to suit your budget
thanks for that , will have to look out for the mexican.
For good, home-cooked and very cheap food go to the Ikebana (up to the Pollensa Park hotel and turn right. She does the best Paella ever!!
Loads of places to eat otherwise, all along the sea front. Als, in the main town square there are some excellent eateries. One particular one was on the corner of the square and specialises in Fish and bar-b-q'd food. Usually have a cuban trio playing. You cannot fail to eat well in PP!
we are staying at the bahia pollensa hotel , not sure where in PP that is .
http://www.puertopollensa.com/maps/southern.html - it is number 42 so fairly South but all within walking distance. You are near the Ikebana who do a great value menu of the day - often with Paella especially on Sundays.
You are spoilt for choice for food in both Puerto Pollensa & Pollensa town. Say what you are looking for - meals with kids, special night out, traditional Mallorquin etc. & I'm sure I or someone can recommend. The restaurant on the Quay - Stay is a favourite - but may still be closed as it is being rebuilt.
