The pavements are not particularly bad, but there are places where there are holes as trees were planted in the middle of the pavements (don't ask me why) and they have now been removed and the holes left. The holes are not deep, about 1 1/2 inches or so, but you could do yourself a nasty injury if you twisted your foot and fell. The pavements can be a bit narrow too so you have to step into the road to get past people. As long as you keep your wits about you and watch where you put your feet, you should be fine. Depends how drunk you intend to get

Well, I can confirm the pavements in Pefkos ARE treacherous!
We have been back from our holiday in Pefkos for 4 weeks now. On our last night, i fell down one of these 'holes' and twisted my ankle, it took 3 weeks for the swelling to go down! Thank goodness it was the last night, as the following morning, i could hardly put my foot on the floor. Oh, and before anyone asks...i was sober! The thing is, this was our 3rd time to Pefkos, so i knew the pavements were dodgy, so do take care!
