Hi
Last year i was taken into hospital with galstones but after an examination we found out it was a bad case of trapped wind the doctor gave me this mixture and it worked a treat.
It Called MAGNESIUM TRISILICATE MIXTURE, you can get it in the little local chemist and it costs about £1.50 a bottle. you mix 15 ml with a little water and drink it. Adults and children over 12 years can use it.
I always take some on hoilday with me it get rid of any bloatedness and wind, but it can make you brake wind or belch. But i think Its its better our than in.
It alot cheaper than other prouducts that do the same thing but never forget to ALWAYS READ THE LABLE.

My hubby is the same, perhaps you two should go away together and you can blow off till your hearts are content.
I always get bloated, I think most people do.It's something to do with the amount of fluids and heat on holiday. Try taking Aquaban away with you but don't over do it as you'll end up de-hydrated.Cazz
I suffered with wind problems myself on holiday - you need to turn a negative into a positive.......go windsurfing and become a world champion !
I swear I get irritable bowel syndrome when I go on holiday but think it's just through over indulging.
Some of you have touched on the subject of the heat etc. whilst you are abroad on holiday but bloatedness can be brought on because of the atmosphere where you are. My husband and I live part way up a mountain in Spain and some days we can feel really off. We hadn't paid too much attention to it just put it down to something new or different which we had eaten the day before but last summer we learned something which completely changed our minds. We went to the Sierra Nevada mountains for the weekend and on arrival at the hotel (half way up the mountain) we ordered a beer each. We had dinner in the evening which was lovely but neither of us felt great. The following day we went for a trip up to the top of the mountain and in the car was an empty coca cola bottle which was deflated. We then drove to the bottom of the mountain and on arrival the bottle had reinflated! This is obviously what can happen to your body at altitude hence the bloatedness so it is possible that depending how high above sea level you are your body is affected. A bit scientific I know but it made us wake up!
Hope this is helpful.
