Better to call the airline but I would say no since they are minor explosives.

I would agee. I very much doubt they would be allowed. However, I would have thought that it would have been possible to buy them locally from wherever you are going to. If you have your flight tickets etc you should find a page in your booklet that tells you what you are allowed and not allowed to pack in your hold and hand luggage.

My son bought a cap gun in Beni and we carried the refills in his case on the way back home, so I don't think a few party poppers will do any harm.

Well has someone has just stated on their tickets no party poppers.

Is it really worth putting other people at risk just to pop a popper when England win.

Beachbabe don't get me wrong it is a wonderful gesture to support our team in such a way, but think hard about it.

We go away in 9 days and we will be supporting England all the way, wear your tshirt hun and watch us win the cup :pele

Have a fab holiday

I've just been going through some documentation from some of my old holidays (I tend to keep such things as reminders and momentos....I know sad arn't I  ) and I found some old flight coupon booklets, one was from last October....Oct 2005... (so fairly recent) and the others were from a few years back, but in each booklet it clearly states: "explosives such as fireworks, flares and party poppers must not be carried on board the aircraft or in hold luggage"

I wouldn't think that many hotels would be very impressed with the amount of mess they make either.

( I can't help it, I'm a mother  )

Quite apart from the safety aspect (there are obviously good reasons why they are banned) I wouldn't take these poppers with me. Last year I flew twice and on both occasions sniffer dogs were very much in evidence. It's not worth having your cases removed, possibly missing your flight and even possibly delaying the flight for everyone. I'm sure they will be available cheaply in Bulgaria if you really need some.

Have a good time....I've got just under two weeks to go and have my fingers crossed that England will still be in there!

On the back of the Ibiza tickets we had in May it went as far as to say you couldn't take the 'caps' that a toy gun would use!
