I am planning a big tour of Egypt end of April 2007 for myself, my husband and his parents.

We have narrowed it down to two :

1. Fly Heathrow to Cairo 28th Apr check into Mena House Oberoi for 3 nights....Then fly Cairo to Aswan for one night Elephantine Island resort...Next morning early trip to Abu Simbel, then embark on 4 night cruise to Luxor on the Nile Beauty....Then 2 nights Old Winter Palace Luxor...Then 5 nights Fayrouz hilton Sharm

This costs £1374pp

2. Fly Heathrow to Cairo 28th Apr check into Mena House Oberoi for 3 nights...Then fly Cairo to Luxor 2 nights Old Winter Palace...Then embark Nile cruise 4 nights doing Abu Simbel on the morning of the last day then 1 night Aswan old Cataract then 5 nights Sharm Ritz Carlton

This costs £1695pp

Not sure which to go for...The first tour we cruise from Aswan to Luxor and we know the boat we'll definitely be on, whereas the 2nd one it'll be either the M/S Miriam, Nile Sapphire, M/S Medea or La Traviata but we won't know which one 'til we get there, BUT we do get a night and most of a day at the Old Cataract, which I really fancy. But it's £300 more expensive, and I'm not sure if it's worth it?

Any thoughts/advice would be mich appreciated
