Hi, i usually stay in Puerto Pollenca about 10 mins from Alcudia. They have finished the motorway now so the route is well sign posted and totaly painless. Theres a water park in Alcudia its smaller than the main ones but right on top of you and ideal for the age of your children (cheaper too) there are also a couple of go-karting tracks that the kids may enjoy. Cant give any more advice on days out because mine are a lot older. Sorry.

Hi, Just to echo what salhal says. The route's easy enough. Just to point out that when you leave the airport, make sure you get onto the Via Cintura which will then be signposted for Inca-Port d'Alcudia. After that, it's straightforward. Where are you staying though in Alcudia? It might need a bit of explaining, depending where you are.

You might also want to go to Marineland with the kids - a vast dolphinarium in the south. It's in Costa d'en Blanes (Portals Nous).

We are also staying in Alcudia and I would love to go to Port Solleir from where you can get a train that goes up into the mountains.

Bluenose. Adapted from thealcudiaguide.com's directions, here is how you get to the Alcudia:
Coming into Alcúdia there are two roundabouts, the first with a garden centre off to the left. Go straight on to the next, larger roundabout and then also straight on for the centre of Puerto Alcudia. You will then come to another roundabout (the Horse Roundabout) with a large sculpture. The third exit will take you to another smaller roundabout. Go right for the centre of Puerto Alcudia. Hotel Alcúdia is on this road (Teodor Canet) about 200 metres.
