This is a specific disscusion about the pegasos palace and tropical hotels so i dont think you will get much response you would be better either typing the hotel name in the search box to look for old posts or starting a new post of your own asking about it.......hope you get the info you want.

There is enough room for a cot by the sofa bed but you will probably need to do a bit of furniture removals. If you move the coffee table from the lounge into the bedroom this should give you enough space.

My two year old spent the fortnight in the lap of luxury in a king size bed while hubby and I ended up on the sofa bed. We did this simply because the balcony is off the lounge area so we put him in the bedroom so that we could have a drink on the balcony in the evening without disturbing him!

We are staying in a Kids Den room. Are these all located in one place? Any other info about them would be great.

Do some pools get much busier than others, or is it equally difficult to get a sun bed at them all (unless you get up really early!!)?

Thanks

Do the men have to put trousers on to go into the restuarants and what about the kids? are they also not allowed to wear shorts at the PP.

Hi again Bailey
Think there are quite a few of us from the KABC on here now.
Not Sure what page but there was a discussion on this earlier in the forum and you are allowed to wear shorts in the restaurants (somebody aired their views quite strongly  ) doesn't bother me what people wear as long as they are clean and not wearing wet swimming trunks in there.
By the way good luck for the wedding.
By the way Bailey just read your post again you have put a big smile on my face - it sound like you want the men in no trousers and the kids in shorts
Here's to a great time in Turkey - Can't wait :glynis

Hi,

there's a lot on here about the PP jacuzzi suites - what about the ones at PT. Do these also have no lifts (we're taking a 1 year old & 3 year old). Also, where on the map are they? Are they just as big and spacious?

Hi all
Just wondering what are the family rooms like and where abouts are they in the PT.

Can anyone tell me what the breakfast selection is like? Is there plenty of fruit etc? Also, what are the salads like at the other meal times?
Do the restaurants do a kids menu? Mine will eat most things, but it would be good to know that the 'old favourites' are there to fall back on.

For those that have done the soccer school, do the children wear shin pads? I would rather pack my son's than have to buy some there.

Thanks

Wow loads of questions to answer.

Can anyone tell me what the breakfast selection is like? Is there plenty of fruit etc? The breakfast selection is brilliant, every kind of egg you can imagine, fried, freshly made omelettes, scrambled, pancakes, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, beans, croissants, loads of pastries, fresh fruit, hundreds of breads, jam, yoghurts, cereals. I think I could add another hundred things to that list.

Also, what are the salads like at the other meal times? Fantastic a huge selection of salads and pasta salads at lunchtime and evening meals in the main restaurants.

Do the restaurants do a kids menu? Mine will eat most things, but it would be good to know that the 'old favourites' are there to fall back on. There is a kids buffet in the main restaurant from 6pm to 8pm, great selection for the kids, all the usual, chicken nuggets, chicken drumsticks, meatballs, spag bol, mashed pots, beans bla bla bla.

For those that have done the soccer school, do the children wear shin pads? I would rather pack my son's than have to buy some there. sorry I can't help with this one, I don't remember seeing kids with shin guards, but if you need them, I'd imagine they supply them as they have loads of equipment out there.

how does the all inclusive work. You are given a wristband which you should wear all the time. Although they werent that strict on it as the whole complex is ai anyway.

what is excluded, branded drinks, fresh fruit juice except whats in the restaurant machines, candy floss, ice lollies, ice cream outwith 10am-5pm and popcorn. Also the entertainment in the games room is payable, ie machines, ten pin bowling etc.

how much lira would you take i think the rate is 2.75 at the mo. I would only take a small amount of lira, say £20 to see you through until you find your feet. you will get a much better rate out there.

what would you recomend on site Everything! Especially the kids club from 9pm to 11pm for your 4 year old if you can keep her on UK time then you're laughing! Also make sure you visit Sarigerme, gorgeous little village and if booking excursions do it through Mustafa at Sarigerme tours, not through first choice.

what would you avoid Nothing, its all fab and you really must give everything a go for yourself.

what trips would you recomend (my children are 4 and 1 both girls). The islands tour, you get a few breaks for swimming, beach etc. A great day out, if I managed it with my 4 year old who is mega hyperactive, then anyone can do it!

how do the resurants work - You don't need to book for the main buffet restaurants, you just turn up, find a table and its self service. For the A la carte, you get one visit to each per holiday, which you have to book at the guest service desk next to reception at 10am.

how much do the spa s cost Mixed prices for different treatments, sorry I can't remember exactly how much. Someone who's just back will be able to answer.

do they do cut throut shave Yes in the hairdressers in the hotel, again though your dh will get a far better shave and cheaper at the hairdressers in Sarigerme. Mustafa will point you in the right direction.

HTH you both, have wonderful holidays.

Hi Bailey

I fly out with my family on 21st August so will overlap with you by a week - also from KABC and travelling with 2 boys from Bristol. Are you getting any vaccinations before you go? Also can't find any new photos of PP - McFester seemed to say earlier that there were some new ones.

RE: soccer school, they don't supply you with shin pads so we took the boys, but after half an hour they took them off as it was just too hot  I don't think you really need to take them as none of the kids will be wearing actual footie boots with studs.

Most people going to Turkey choose not to have vaccinations. There's a full topic here about it http://holidayforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=25372 use that and you'll keep Briar happy
