Is there plenty of highchairs in the restauarnts or do you sometimes have to wait for them?
Also are pushchairs allowed in restuarant? (just thinking he might be asleep when we go for evening meal.

I have just been looking at the video, the water slides look good!! :D The one bad thing was that the video was taken at 7am and it looked as though every sun bed already had a towel on it and there wasn't a sunbather in site!!

Thanks Hayley....not long now!!!!!!

I have never been anywhere where you dont have a struggle for sunbeds it is annoying and i hate people who rush out early for them and leave towels there all day but you are forced to be like everyone else to keep yours if you get one.....it would be much easier if they could "police" it!!

Oh well im not going to get stressed over it i will hope i can get one and if not im packing a couple of lilos i will just have to use them......im certainly not going to let it ruin my hols. :D

What i do hate is people that reserve sunbeds for young kids who are in the pool allday and dont use them or need them.

Hi,

I used to be a sun worshipper, but unfortunately I can't sit in for too long these days (an age thing you know - lol), also my hubby has very fair skin.

Can anyone tell me, who's been to PP, is there much shade?

and/or

Will it be a wise thing to take our own parasol, or are there enough sunbeds with parasols? Or do they sell them over there?

Thanks alot,
Sue x

There is plenty of shade around the main and kids pool at the PP (fixed canopies and moveable parasols). As already stated in this forum however they do get reserved fairly early on. Whilst I was there in June any towels on sunbeds before 8.30ish were being removed. You do need to get to the pool close to 9am to be sure of getting any shade. In terms of the sunbed mattresses we also took lilos and ended up using these on the beds as you could never get hold of a mattress!

When we stayed there husband had to get up at 6.30am to put towels out on the bed and whilst we both don't agree with such a stupid idea it had to be done otherwise you didn't have a hope in hells chance of getting one. This is difficult because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and its not possible just to try and go out and as and when you like so you had to do what everyone else was doing.

Umberellas you could never get hold of - even those had towels draped over them to say "they are mine". We used to get beds under the shaded areas but you couldn't always get the sun until it moved around sometimes later in the day before it would be shining on your bed. We only ever took 1 bed for our 2 children to share because they were always in and out of the pool and it was mostly the elder one that sunbathed.

We used to always grab the beds beside the snack bar and it was nice and handy so the kids could just run and get food and drinks and we could see them all the time.

The beach was always empty because it had lots of nettles on it and you were unable to sunbathe in comfort - hopefully this year it may well be sorted for you all but do take care as I read some reviews before we went out that you can step in the sea and then the next few steps you take you can just drop a couple of feet - this will have to be watched if you have youngsters.

Great hotel but its a shame its all british. I'm sure you will all have a fab time but you will understand what I mean once you are there. Enjoy it.

Hi all, new member here. Me my wife to be and 5 year old daughter are going to the PP in 6 weeks time for our honeymoon, staying in a jacuzzi suite. I have read a lot of the posts etc on this site and have found them really helpful, although I also find some people moan at the slightest thing, never mind. Could anyone please tell me what a "tomwatch" is and how does it work? Also does anyone know if you can buy English cigarettes in the complex or around Sarigerme? any tips about this complex would be really appreciated. Cheers. :D

Anyone else know do they not sell parasols in their shops? Hayley and John that 1 from cosco sounds great but cosco is about 1 hours drive from us and we haven't a card - does anyone else know of any other shops selling them? we have a very blonde 2 year old who will need the shade a lot.

hi the wilson family,
no they dont sell them in the shops there, not seen anymore more like this one but i'll keep my eye out for one for you, we also have very blonde kids and have to make sure they keep their hats on

daz1892 - whatever you do do not get a tomwatch - you really don't need one.

A tomwatch is something that you can wear around your wrist and everytime you want a drink or an icecream that isn't part of the all inclusive they just bill it all to your watch. Lots of people were getting ripped off big style with these things and lots of complaints were made when we were there. We never had one and nor did lots of others - you really don't need them unless you tend to want to drink something that isn't part of the AI and things like Magnum ice lollies instead of the free cones.

When we were there (end of May) we didn't see anyone at all with a Tom Watch. We wondered whether they had stopped them? Any thing that wasn't included in the AI you could just pay for.

Going to pegasos palace 4 weeks on Monday, everyone starting to get excited now.

Getting pestered off daughter (12 going on 30) who wants to know if there is any age limits for spa treatments and massages.

Can anyone who has been recently advise on the above.

Thanks in advance :)

Keith - i'm not sure of any age limits but my daughters were 8 and 12 and they both had a turkish bath and massage - mind this was in the hotel and both me and my husband were present. I don't think it would be a good idea to let them go alone because although the masseurs were brilliant they ranged in ages and the one that seen to my 12 year old must have only been very early 20's.

Go with them and enjoy it - my husband wished he had enough time to go back for another one cos his back was brilliant by the time they had finished with him

Thanks for your reply

Wife will probably go with daughter for massage (keeps them both happy). Suppose I'll have to go to the bar whilst they have their massage !!!!

Did you have any other spa treatments whilst you were there.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

We didnt have any other spa treatments - although we all wished we did after feeling so good after the turkish bath ... it was lovely.

Storms,

I think we paid about £60 for the 4 of us to have a turkish bath at the PP. You can get them cheaper outside of the complex but I had heard some stories that put me of doing that especially when my daughters wanted on too. I think you only get what you paid for and I can honestly say it was worth every penny of the £60 because we all enjoyed it.
