first choice are, i believe, £10 a head dearer for the dalyan trip and the 5 islands trip, and probably take about 40 people on the same size boats that the other company would take 15 or so on, so you wouldn't get the same personal touch.

Glad you had a fab holiday, i am very jealous as we had to cancel ours My wee boy was in hospital for 17 days with an asthma attack. I am now going to stop reading all the post as I get more and more depressed!

getting cash

i don't know if you can get cash with your card from reception, there is a cashpoint in sarigerme, right by where the taxis stop. If i was somebody important at first choice i would seriously be trying to get a cashpoint, or 2, installed in the hotel.

the rep did tell us about the tom watch on the drive from the airport, but i didn't see any one using one the week we were there, certainly things like popcorn and candy floss you could just buy with cash (and it was priced in lira, stirling and euros).

Can anyone tell me where the kids den rooms are located? Just wondered what they are near and whether they are all together or scattered around the hotel?

For anyone who has gone on a boat trip, which one would you recommend for children (9 and 5)?

popcorn and candyfloss

i checked with my son who says that popcorn or candyfloss was £1.50 or 4 lira or 2 euros. I have to say we got quite addicted to the candyfloss.

Our kids den room was in the block furthest from reception, on the 1st floor, i don't know if they were all there but certainly any time i could see through an open door they all appeared to be kids dens. Our girls had a standard room with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed, that was on the ground floor in the block nearest to reception.

Hi there,

Only 1 week left to go before we go to Pegasus Tropical :sun

:hyper, I have read a lot about the family rooms at the Palace site, and I was just wondering if the rooms are the same at both sites. Also as well have having pools and a buffet restaurant, does the tropical have any themed restaurants in addition to those at the palace.

just a few other quiestions....

As we are not going to book any tours, is there any point in going to the welcome meeting? we dont always go but sometimes they tie up the kids club registration with the meeting so you have to go?

also can you have kids hair braided/beaded at the spa or is there somewhere local to get it done?

Gym at PP

Hi has anybody who`s stayed at PP tell me wot the gym facilities are like plz,sad i know but if kids r doing my head in i can disappear for an hour or two :lol:
