I assume you mean the mud baths at Dalyan? Trips to these are more usual from the Marmaris area. I think I have seen trips advertised at some of the tour companies in Bodrum, but I am not sure how long the trip would be or how much it would cost. I am sure that someone else will be able to help more but I didn't want you to feel neglected.
If you do manage to get to the mudbaths from Bodrum area, make sure to take a bottle of the cheap "Lemon Cologne" to splash on afterwards to mask the horrible smell.
yes im sorry i no its not an island but i always seem to say islands when concerning holiday destinations,i guess its just a figure of speech!!!!!!
As far as the trip goes ill wait and see ,only 5 days and ill be there !!!!!!
happy holidays everyone
yes you can go the mud baths but think the trip is about 3 hours each way, its a long day travelling.Which hotel in Turgutreis are you going to, we are going there in September to Club Kadikale. If you do go to the mud baths enjoy yourself and take some pegs for your nose, the smell is....lets say different.
Have a great time
Ron
Hi sallington, if you do go to the mud baths leave your inhabitions( is that the word im looking for) at the entrance....you will see what i mean when you have to get changed behind the wicker screens...dont worry we all have done it its a good laugh at the mud baths....Gavin
Bodrum itself is a pretty amazing town, well worth a couple of trips (Only about 25mins away on a dolmus). But my favorite place in the world is Gumusluk (15mins). Spend a lazy day there-make sure you take your skorkle, and you should also spend an evening at one of the lovely fish restaraunts, Mimosa is my recommendation
