I would like you to email me at holidaytruthadmin@googlemail.com
Please provide details of your name and the company you work for as, if you wish to post on this forum as a 'travel lawyer' then first I need to check out your qualifications.
Thank you.
Message to Flip Flop........................or should I say Lawyer trying to pull the wool over our eyes!!!
Having people like you guys protecting us, is what make this site the best ever !!
Thanks,
Janet
They also alert us to spam in their pm boxes and dodgy looking posts.
We're all just one big team really and this is what makes the site so successful. We wouldn't be what we are without our members.
hi ..glynis....they were very nice comments,.its grand being a very small part of such a great team..............many regards..john-doe

Team work Mary
I don't know what's gone on with flip-flop etc. but I'm very cautious when offering advice and if I feel my post is treading too much into legal territory I usually explain at that same time that I have NO legal training whatsoever.
Without a poster providing his/her qualifications or employer it's best to assume that few (if any) posters on this site are legally qualified in the travel area - that's why Ros Fernihough is the best to consult on such matters.
Mike
I think it might have been when you were on your hols Mike but someone came on purporting to be a travel lawyer offering some 'iffy' advice. I then went on my hols and I think reading between the lines he/she must have come back on as 'Flip-flop'.
They were requested by admin to submit details ( in confidence ) to confirm their claimed qualifications. Quite a reasonable request in my opinion.
They did not and so were banned.
Tha admin team work hard to ensure that this site continues to help those who have a problem. I am sure that they would welcome GENUINE offers.
Some of our members - Mike for example - have spent some time researching various areas, and try to point people in the right direction. They have never claimed to be experts and make that clear when they post.
At the end of the day we can only express personal opinions, anyone seeking advice needs to consult an expert in travel law if they wish to take any legal action.
HT is fortunate to have such a person in Ros Fernehough who has helped many members. The Safe & Sound booklet which can be downloaded is a must read for all travellers.

Well said FWH.
I have legal training, but none really in travel matters, as it's pretty specialised - so wouldn't like to make comments on something that I don't have any jurisdiction in 110%
Great Job!!
You are absolutely right, the Safe & Sound booklet is essential for travellers and everybody should have a copy. I tell everybody about it.
Regards.
