Thats great but I was lookin as well for flight only but they all seem to be like £400 and the deal im gettin is for £291 for centrally located apts which I think is pretty good its just convincin my mates as they don't know if they can afford that!!! But ill try some of flight operators as I wouldn't mind goin DIY as in past experience goin via a tour operator was no big advantage. The only thing is transport to and from the airport. IS there a bus service that runs from Larnaca to Ayia Napa regularly? Thanks Miss cheif!! And Stendec! I know Cyprus is beautiful so would like to see a bit more of it this time. Thanks for al your help!

I read somewhere else someone found a flight for around £150. It was a British Airways flight, so try their website :P

I always book last minute, This year we got £160 off the brochure price and last year we paid £220 H.B for one week whilst other people had paid £700-800. :D

I am going in October 1st till 15th and I have been before in October. Most places tend to stay open until the end of October so you will be fine.

Hi i'm going to ayia napa in a few weeks.

A friend of ours who is coming out with us has asked me how much cigs are.

I actually can't remember.

Is it worth buying at manchester on the way out or what.

So does anyone have any idea how much they are in resort?

And

How much they are at the airport on the way home?

Thanks

Hi There,

I always used to find Larnaca airport cheaper than home and in resort

You can no longer buy Duty Free Cigs from any UK airport when visiting Cyprus now anyway as they're part of the EU and as such you have no Duty Free allowance.

Prices in resort were roughly £25CYP for UK brands in May, the airport prices at Larnaca were the same as resort now that there's no Duty Free  So all depends on whether you want to get them in resort and pack them or carry them on as hand luggage.

Allowance now however is 3200 Cigarettes per person

Allowance now however is 3200 Cigarettes per person

not technically true , there is no so called "allowance" any more although 3200 is the unwritten amount where customs will start asking questions but as long as you can prove they are for your own pesonal use (easier said than done) you can bring in any amount , mate of mine was stopped with 7000 and they confiscated the lot went through his bank account and finances and said he couldnt afford to smoke that much , they thought he d bought them to sell ..... as if

It's actually classed as "own use allowance" to be strictly correct

Everything you need to know about "allowances" for Tobacco and Alcohol etc. in link below

I'd buy them in resort just to be sure as they had hardly any choice of cigarettes or spirits at the airport when we returned from Larnaca in June.

Cigs in Cyprus are 2.00 CYP
everywhere, all cities same price.

Well i definitely paid 25CYP for UK menthol brand in May in Ayia Napa for 200 :? I'm looking at my Nationwide BS receipt now and it's there in black & white so I guess the 2CYP all cigs all cities is wrong
