Can anyone recommend any clubs/activities where children can be dropped-off for a couple of hours each day? There is no kids club at the hotel we are staying at, so it would have to be one where non-residents are welcome!! If its in a hotel/resort/complex that also has a gym that I could use whilst the kids play that would be heaven sent!!
We are staying at the Hotel Sinbad for the whole of august. I have two children (3 and 5). We are going to tunisia to join my husband who will be working there for the summer. So any ideas of how to keep the kids occupied and entertained would be very welcome!!!
Hi Kath - can't help you with the Kid's Clubs, but one day it may be worth you catching the bus opposite the Simbad on the main road - to Yasmine Hammamet. It terminates there, so you can't get lost! There is an excellent theme park there which should keep the kids amused for a day or so. Enjoy Tunisia! Jenny
Unfortunately this Theme Park (Carthage) was closed when I was there ( a week ago)following a fatal accident - not sure when the accident happened but they were not due to reopen anytime soon.
Tragic information Ann - and everyone had such high hopes of the success of the project whilst it was being built. I am sure that everyone involved was devastated. So very sad.
Actually, just found it:

Apparently, the girl who was killed and her mother who was injured travelled with Panorama:

Makes you think about what are health and safety standards in other countries and made me really worried as I was there with my 16 yo and had the park been opened - we would have gone there of course.
