could anyone inform me why night after night people who are on holiday are superglued to watching the screen!! they dont talk to one another! just stare at screen, it really baffles me ! they have probebly
seen the programme a million times!, as i am scottish i thought it might be an english thing, but we were with 3 english couples across the road from friends bar and we were all in stiches at the people sitting like robots
watching this! and the vast numbers not even laughing! anyway please dont be offended by this rant ! we are just curious. griff

A few years back when in Pernera (not Protaras) Friends bar, it was on the way towards the rest of the places, so we called in and sat and watched an episode, which entertained our (older) children and we don't mind watching it... it was a bit like watching the tv at home after getting in from work, then going out to the pub..(only in this case home was much warmer with beer on tap and food if you wanted it (not that I don't get food at home, but you know what I mean))...

Hi there. We liked the Friends bar as it was cheap and cheerful. If we wanted a nice meal then we went to Nicolas Taverna and if we wanted to chill out quietly we went to Friends Bar and sank a few cocktails. We were there from 23 October to 6 November and most places closed on 31 October and Friends Bar was one of the few places open so we spent a lot of time there. Also, they enclosed it in the second week so it was a lot warmer than other places.

I like Friends and have seen most episodes several times, but I must admit if other restaurants had been open then we would not have gone there so often!

Friends bar used to be fantasic before it actually became Friends bar,they just played great music,we always go in there anyway because the gordons gin and tonic is just the best....I do tend to watch maybe an episode whilst my husband just sits there shaking his head saying "how can you find this rubbish funny??"
