Can anyone suggest where to go late Feb?(moved from OD)

Hi everyone,

Hubby and I are looking to go away late Feb 07 with some friends, but not sure where will be warm. We're all in our late 20's/early 30's, like somewhere that's got a bit of life, but not too busy.

Can anyone help?

Depends on your budget...but Thailand is hot and sunny then.

I was thinking more of the Canaries/Med - any ideas for somewhere there?

Hi DLR13,

The med will not be hot enough in feb, but the canaries will be. I suggest Las Americas in Tenerife.We are a couple in our50's/60's and we enjoy it there,in fact we will be there for easter in the Vulcano hotel. There are plenty of bars with live acts on just along from the Vulcano hotel and a lovely shopping centre called The Safari Centre. There are numerous hotels, so have a look at http://www.canaries-live.com and see for yourself if you think it would be suitable, I think it will be.

definitely go to the Canaries.. we go to one island or another at least twice a year and have doen so for yonks.. we have been at various times throughout the year, and in February i think the weather tends to be slightly better in Tenerife or Gran Can than it does in Lanza ( or maybe we were just unlucky!)..

PDLA or LC has plenty of nightlife and are great bases with which to explore the island from.. in GC, i would suggest either Puerto Rico or Playa Del Ingles if you want some action...
