Have been to this hotel as a family twice, 2003 when first opened and 2005. Daughter went with friend in June this year and son going with girlfriend in September!

Yes pool towels are supplied. A deposit of 10 euros per towel required which you get back at end of holiday. Fridge in room can be hired - I think its about 10 euros per week, can't remember exactly. Safe in room also available for hire.

Brilliant hotel - sure you will enjoy it.

.thanks for that carol.it will please my husband, he likes to keep a couple of cans in the fridge to have on the balcony.

The vending machines are brilliant they even give you free ice,all the cans dispensed are really cold,I would give it a try before having a fridge.
Overall it was one of the best holiday hotels we have stayed in.

We have just come home from a fabulous holiday at the Maripins Hotel in Malgrat de Mar. We go there every year and although we love it we quite fancy a change next year. While we were there this year we visited Tossa for the day and noticed the Hotel Bahia, we would like to book direct as we drive there ourselves and wondered if anyone else has ever done this. If so, could you please give me the hotel contact details. Thanking you in advance. PS While we were at Tossa for the day we went on a boat trip around the caves (the boat ride was called 'Splash'), it was a heavy duty dinghy which the coastguards use and was booked on the main beach, I would recommend this, it was great fun for me, my husband, and our two boys (aged 11 and 14). You could get off the boat near the caves and swim in them if you wanted to (life jackets were available for those who wanted to use them). We really love this coast and have been holidaying there for nearly 30 years (since I was a child!!).

Is it worth booking, had mixed reviews.

Also anyone know if you can smuggle in a 3 yr old to the kids club which starts at age 4??

Are the rooms comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children 3 & 4?

I've tried to phone the hotel direct and THomson are next to useless at finding out- Before I splash out on £1600 I'd like to know a bit more

Don't know about the kids club as we were two adults, but loved the hotel would book it tomorow, the rooms were spotless and the food the best we have had in a hotel, plenty of choice and always hot, pool great for kids, don't think you would have a problem with the kids club, lovely resort very safe and nice hotel

Go to thomson platimun holidays you can see hotel pics and video of the hotel, same with portland which is cheaper, great hotel would go back tommorow

after a last minute change of hotel due to unforeseen circumstances I am staying at this hotel as a couple. Think I made the right choice judging by the comments, any more tips advice??
