I am pleased you are eventually sorted. My only concern is if you hadn't used the safe I wonder what amount the insurance would have paid out? I will still use a safe on my hols and hope for the best.

Just read your posts, glad you've managed to sort something out with the insurance. However i also saw that you mentioned dedicated holidays - did they pay out any compensation or did you just give you a voucher?

We had booked with them to go on holiday on 2nd september, however they ceased operating on the 1st September 06 and we are currently trying to get our money back through ATOL.

So i don't know if you will be able to take this any further with them or whether you have just given up.

i will have to have a look into where i can get my discount, as the company has now closed, i dont know where to stand!

SHOCKED!!!!!

Sorry to say they have ceased trading. Any discount off a future holiday with them will not now be of any use.
