hey everyone.
I have just booked 2 weeks to the club hotel rui evrika in sunny beach for 2 weeks from june the 11th. has anyone been to this hotel, would be really grateful for anyone to let me know what its like?

hi amy. i stayed at the riu evrika in 2004 and 2005. Both holidays were in june aswell and i thoroughly enjoyed them. good sized rooms with a great pool for the kids or a quieter one out front if you just wanna lie and soak up the sun. The beach is virtually on your doorstep. If you want a pool view room dont be afraid to ask if you land up in another room. The food is sound aswell. Outside the front door there is a beach side bar that is open 24/7. Sound for a nightcap on your way home from a night out ! If i were to go back to Bulgaria this would be the hotel i would return too. No complaints what so ever. Hope this puts your mind at rest and i hope you enjoy your holiday. Im off to Goa tomorrow for the 2nd time so really excited at the moment

oh thats brilliant thanks. yeh it has put my mind at rest as I was hearing lots of dodgy stories about the food on all inclusive holidays out there. but i have been told that the meals are so cheap out there anyway! Just cant wait now, and its straight after my exams so it will be a nice break, pass or fail haha.
Have fun in Goa, it will be nice to get away from the cold weather in the uk!

Thinking of booking this hotel, anyone stayed there?

we are hoping to go to bulgaria in september 08 for 1st time and wanted to know if anyone has been to this hotel or know anything about it have read the feed back and it sounds nice but they can be sometimes misleading thank you x

Hi - the couple we sat with at Khans Tent were staying there and they said it was very nice. I don't have/remember any specifics but hope that helps in some way.

Apologies, didnt realise it was a club hotel (I am too hasty). Sounds great, booked today, although a long time to go till next July. We did go and look round the hotel last week when we was in Sunny Beach we stayed at the Riu Helios Palace (review posted), and liked the location of the Evrika, having stayed at the Victoria Palace previously, we walked past many times and didnt realise how far back it stretched assuming the pool on the beach side at the back of the hotel was the only one. If the food and service is as good as the Helios Palace I am sure we wont be disappointed, and reading the reviews they sound very similar.
