Me again Julie, just when you've found your dream holiday I come along to spoil it for you
I've never stayed here but walked through it a few times. It isn't actually on the beach,it sits on a rocky headland right at the end of Fig Tree bay so it's only a short walk away. One thing that struck me straight away was how close the sunbeds are. There is a path from one end of the complex to the other which runs along the sea edge where all the sunbeds are. There's a grassy bit round the corner which is a bit more open but it's away from the pool.It also seemed like it was very Scandanavian orientated.i also noticed flags with the Tui sign and Blue Village on it.Has it changed it's name?to get into the sea there are a few jetties from the rocks or like I said earlier you have to walk a hundred yards or so to Fig Tree bay.If you go to the photo album section there's a couple of photos I,ve taken from here looking along the coast. They're the ones with the dates on them(July 2003 I think)

Thanks Dav,
at least you're being honest and giving me facts, which I appreciate.
Maybe I,m trying to be too smart as I'm going onto sites like Thomsons etc looking at package holidays that look like they meet all of my criteria, then going on to this site and finding out the real truth - also, it's beginning to dawn on me that I'm probably asking for too much - I want a very clean hotel (especially rooms and pool area), fantastic food, great kids entertainment for my toddler, as well as a teenage element for my 16 year old, near a fab beach, near the 'biz' but not right in it (within walkable distance), my biggest pet hate is the carry on to get sunbeds every morning, and I guess I want a great AI hotel.
Hey ho - not much to ask is it! I'II keep looking, I'm nothing if not determined. I've also got to keep it in my mind that this site is just peoples opinions and lots of people have different experiences, so it's looking at everything with a touch of common sense!
Sorry, thats the gospel according to Julie Ross - I'm off on the hunt again!
Thanks for your help!

Visited the hotel due to the fact that we were staying at the sister hotel, the Ayios Elias, and the mini bus dropped us off outside.
Seemed very nice. Very modern and clean. The pool was perhaps a little smaller than average but sufficient. Quite busy around pool but areas of grass plus extra space a few yards away in linked hotel with another pool.
Had our dinner when there, excellent.
It appeared that there was not a lot of britons there unlike rest of Protaras. Perhaps a problem if using kids clubs?
Personally found small bridge to sea excellent, would swim over to fig tree bay while wife walked around path.
If i was booked up to go i would be personally very happy !!!!
