Maybe what you are looking for is a dish called Sanyet Batates? You will find a recipe HERE

They give the recipe using meat but it can be left out. We've eaten it in Luxor several times and found it to be delicious!

Try what we had tonight. Puy lentils cooked with carrot (naturally), celery and onion, hint of garlic, then, on top of that a chicken breast stuffed with a good ripe brie cheese. HEAVEN!!!

One of the nicest dishes I tried in Sharm was FALAFEL

I would imagine it's very fattening but I ate ball after ball it was so delicious!

Pippy :D

I was quite surprised at the taste of camel! It's like a cross between lamb and beef - but longer grained. :D
