I have seen more people with food poisoning in Spain than Goa.
Personal hygine and that of the waiter is more to the point.

we always carry a small bottle of hand cleansing gel to use before meals and after toilet. No probs
A lot of it is just common sense I guess.
Hi all saints can you tell me a little more about the hand cleansing gel you use...... how often should you use it and when (colleen)
We buy ours from Bodycare. Its called Hygienics Anti-Bactrial Moisturising Hand Gel. Travel size. its only about 4 inches high and you only need a bit with no water or towels required.
When we are in Goa we always have our thermal cups with us everwhere we go ...I ask for a cup of ice at the pool and at the beach shack too and the ice has never been a problem for us .....
what beach shack do you use
WE like one in calangute called Tipsy....and one in bagga called bistro.....but I like my sunbed to be at the waters edge so if they are all taken I just go to any one I like the look of .
You can buy the gel hand wash in Goa - two brands available, KLIN and HIMALAYA, it only costs a few rupees and is sold in all chemists and supermarkets.
GFF xx
GFF I will wait to I get to goa and pick it up along with the plug in you told me about (good knight)for mossies and whisky someone else told me about at 80 odd rps a bottle ...do they have shopping trollies in the supermarket Im gona need one haha...
