Staying in Salema for a relaxing two weeks on the beach on Tuesday.
We have tried all the restaurants in that vicinity so we thought we'd go a bit further afield this time.
Can anyone recommend a couple of restaurants in Sagres?
Have you tried Marigils at Raposeira on the main road opposit the pottery they do a lovely pork meal or lamb you have to order it the day before, we will be there ourselves on the 12th
Haven't tried it but picked up a menu last year on way back from Beliche beach.
Thanks for the recommendation, will give it a go on Saturday night.
Marigils is closed on saturdays
loin of pork. Food quality excellent and the meal was so cheap it was incredible. Really nice people run the restaurant, I can see why it is booked up every night.
Was enough lamb and pork for 4 people but we did manage to finish the meal.
We also found another three restaurants which were worth a visit and which we will be returning to next year. Our favourite was Cachoa where I enjoyed the best rack of lamb ever between Lagos and Praia da Luz, Fontenarios in Espiche and O Tiago in Budens where they do a brilliant Prawn in white wine sauce and garlic.
