It's on Rua Nossa Senhora da Graca.
If you walk up Rua 25 Abril (the main street for restaurants) and turn left immediately after A Veneza restaurant, down the narrow pathway then right,Stevie Ray's is about 50 yards down there on the left.It's a road that most tourists never see for some reason;There is a great little bar just opposite called the Acores bar;drinks there are really reasonable and you'll normally get free nibbles(popcorn/peanuts etc.)with your drinks.Enjoy !!

I've just had a look at the website and notice there's a Funk and Soul night on the 14th. The website says from 12pm to 4pm? The site also says open from 8.30-4am so I'm presuming the funk night is really 12am to 4am?

Yep,midnight to 4:00a.m.The bar opens at 8:30 every evening except Sunday.I should imagine that the Funk/Soul night will just be a d.j. or otherwise there would be a door charge.
If you go in early doors, they're quite happy to play whatever tracks you'd like, as long as it's Jazz or Blues;if you hear Claire Teal blasting out of there, it's probably a sign that Mrs Sagres is in there and has taken one of her CD's with her !!!

They'll probably go to the early session however, I can't see the parents out and about at midnight

Unfortunately Sagres we are only out for 1 week this time but we have a house there so we will definately be out again soon hopefully for longer. I notice you were trying to all get together so i'll keep my eye out and if you do manage a meet up it would be good to make it if we wouldn't be intruding
