Read with interest your comments. Just back from Tenerife and played them at their own game. Got 50 euros and a bottle of spirits each time we went. After an hour we said we had to go and we still got the goodies. Only one was a problem - that was ???????? in Las Americas. The manager came out all heavy handed trying to tell us he could get us low interest on our mortgage (as we said we couldn't buy due to doing home improvements next year). What a lot of cobblers! Anyway, this manager, ***** ********** (), started threatening us and being really nasty. Sorted him out, got our 50 euros (up front of course) and a bottle of whisky and he left with a nasty taste in his mouth as we put other people off spending their hard earned cash on this waste of money.
So we aren't complaining - we made quite a bit of money off them and a good few bottles of duty free.
Roll on the idiots like ***** ********** - we love you really!!!!!
