Did the sailboat tour of the Grottos but it was too high tide and could not get into the grottos. It was our last day to do the tour, so oh well!
Found a secluded surfer beach (followed Rick Steves directions in his book) and it was absolutely fabulous!! It was on the way back from Sagres and of course I can't remember the name of the town now...but the trip was WONDERFUL! Very relaxing!
We only laid by the pool one day and it was quite crowded but nice. Nice breakfast buffet (caters to Brits) that keeps you full all day.
The only problem we had was at the restaurant Navigator. We had made reservations but still had to wait 30 minutes. Then our food took an hour! It was ridiculous and the food was not even good. We took 2 bites and left. It was our last night and what a bummer. Other then that Galleo was great, A Vaca was great (swiss restaurant), one night we ventured over to Portimao and ate at a great Italian place on the Harbor that was fantastic. Portimao is crazy! What a difference between there and Lagos, but it was a lot of fun to roam the streets at 1am and have them be as busy as if it were the middle of the day!
Great trip - and thanks to all for helping wth tips and ideas - especially Sagres!! Hope you have a great time on your trip as well!
