For the last few years we have been doing Cyprus and Greece for our Summer Hols. Next year we would like to do something different and we are considering Ibiza. We have already been to Majorca And Minorca and our only worry is the standard of accomodation. When we stayed in the two other Balearics we thought that the 4 stars we stayed in were alright, but not a patch on the standard of hotels in Cyprus and Greece. Therefore we don't want to go and be dissapointed.
We would like a 4 or 5 star hotel which is incredibley clean, good quality food, with a large pool area where there are plenty of sunbeds which aren't on top of each other.
The other important factor obviously is the resort, as the hotel we are looking for is hopefully going to be B&B or half board (or even self catering if great apartments) We would like somewhere which is in waking distance of a nice family/couples resort with plenty of choice of bars and restaurants.
Can anyone help?
We went to Cyprus last year and found the 3 star accommadation we picked to be very poor in comparison to some we have had in Ibiza.

Thanks I'll check them out
I think definitely Santa Eulalia, I don't know what your budget is but there is a real five star hotel here now called the Fenicia. It has a massive and underused pool, lots of restaurants and bars, a health spa etc.. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and presumably if you want a "real" four or five star hotel then you have the budget for it.
Do you have the hotel chain or web addy for this so I can have a look?
Hi, I would reccomend the Fiesta Bahamas Beach Club at Playa Den Bossa. I went with my wife and 11 year old son in May this year and had a superb holiday. (So much so that we have booked to go back again next May). The standard of hygeine was exceptional and the staff just seemed to be everywhere! As an aside, Playa is only a few minutes from airport and if you don't mind looking at the planes (we loved it as we live rurally back in the uk) the resort is brilliant. A lovely beach that you can walk along or try a ferry over to Formosa for the day from Ibiza town. Do this independently as it is easy and much cheaper !! We took one trip around the island for the day by bus which was very informative and gave you a dood "Feel" for the island and it's history. We loved it - hope you do too.
Can recommend the Don Toni as a very clean and decent 3* hotel, and Playa De'n Bossa is a nice resort with easy access to Ibiza Town.
