Hello Again,
I was hoping some of you may be able to help, in light of the new hand baggage restrictions we won't be able to bring our CD boogie box to listen to in the room!
Are there shops there that we would be able to pick up a wee cheepie one that we could just leave there!?!?!?!
Thanks in advance
You really wouldn't believe some of the stuff I have taken to Cyprus. No, REALLY
But yes there are shops elling this kind of thing...not cheap though. For some reason cd players and the such seem more expensive than home.
Ady
I agree with Ady, if you have a small enough one to fit in your case. I normally take one but then dont make much use of it as i'm always out. I only normally use it when i'm getting ready to go out in the evenings so this time i'm not bothering.
Or even better still get an MP3 Player/iPod and some portable mini speakers.....I haven't looked back since getting mine
WE do have an MP3 player but don't have any speakers and we like to have the cd player for getting ready to go out at night.
Thanks any way for you replies.
I was just on the Birmingham Airport website as a friend is flying later today and found this:
Electronic Goods:
Electrical/electronic items are permitted in passengers' hand luggage. All laptops and large electrical items (e.g. large hairdryer) must be removed from hand baggage at the security search area and passengers should be prepared to switch electrical items on and demonstrate them working to security officials.
I also note that other airports are showing very similar notices.
