It depends on where you are staying amongst other things but if I were you I would take plug-ins & spray just to be on the safe side. You can buy them locally and they are quite inexpensive but I prefer to be prepared as I have been very badly attacked by mossies in the past and was quite ill as a result .
To miss a few days of your holiday is not ideal so I'd advise you to take them anyway
