can any one tell me, who that statue is on the webcam ? trying to come up with a meeting place with some other holidayers... and cant really suggest meeting by a statue, incase there are lots of them!

It's athe statue of Ataturk. It's the biggest statue and most well known in Marmaris I think. Its near the bazaar and everyone in Marmaris will know where you mean if you say the Ataturk statue.

It did look a bit dull earlier, just had another look and it looks really bright. Two weeks and we'll be at the airport. 
Looking pretty good this morning and theres lots of ickle peeps passing by.

Just got back early hours of this morning. For those of you who thought it looked cold in Marmaris, don't you believe it. It's been upwards of 30 degrees C since I got there on the 11 September!! Absolutely wonderful. 
I actually saw the webcam. If you stand with your back to the Ataturk Statue and look towards '2 oclock-ish' direction you will see a little shop with a yellow sign above the door 'Photo Shop', the webcam is perched just above this sign between this and the next door shop.
Oh, and there were plenty of people about. Hope you all have a good time.

spurs are you having a laugh, god i thought my other half was wierd for supporting newcastle. ahh well someones gotta support them i suppose
just bin doing some last minute shopping, brought myself some new flip flops, i think ive got about 8 pairs now, and also 10 bikini's (im a shopoholic) bet ya gf is just the same.

I think she'll do some shopping at the weekend or early next week. Gotta get a few things myself, although i'm cutting it fine. I always take too much stuff on holiday so i've decided not to this time. I like having options.
