Unfortunately the hotel is up quite a steep hill but there is a way around walking up it.
If you are walking from the beach you will see the hill straight ahead, veering off to the right. Dont go that way, cross over a road, this will take you on to a road with lots of shops/bars etc... (the municipal park of salou is in this street too) there are lots of streets that lead off this one, again to the right, and they are a lot less steep than the hill and easier to walk up.
It will probably add 5-10 mins to your walk. Or you could get a taxi back up the hill, they are not that expensive and will take at most 2 mins.

unfortunately that part of Salou is quite hilly. You are quite near Salou's smaller beach but the hill down to the beach is very steep. All very well going down, but coming back up is an absolute swine!

Loulou is right, follow the road through the main restaurant and bar area, and you will come to a junction of many roads - i think 5 roads converge - just before you get to the Red Lion. Go up the hill that way - its the road on the right and it will be less steep, though you'll still perhaps have to take it steadily.
