You get off the plane with kids and 60Kg of luggage in tow, you head for the exit and look for a taxi . . . there arent any.
What you have instead are shuttle buses that will take you - plus lots of other people with huge amounts of luggage & children to the Transport Centre a couple of kilometres away. From where you'll be able to haul your bags off the bus an wait in a queue for a taxi.
(Alternatively there are airport buses and limos which you can catch outside the arrival's hall.)

Happy holidays
oh great! It was easy before.
I presume the limousine service will just be like the one they had at Don Muang which you could book as soon as you got out of arrivals...I never bothered with taxis any way.
But if I was earning Euros/Pounds/Dollars etc and on a 2 week holiday then I'd be straight into the Merc and on my way to the Sheraton, with a smile on my face as I cruise past a convoy of overcrowed buses taking fellow tourists to the taxi ranks way out in no-mans land.
Too easy this way which is what you want after travelling 20hrs +, this new set up at the new Airport is certainly not traveller friendly
Thanks for that MacFarang (love the name) I'm kind of glad that we are not going into Bangkok ... now where did they put domestic ??
How do you book a limo in advance from the airport?
Ive arranged transfers through my tour operator for someone to meet me at the airport, I wonder if that actually means at the airport or at this transportation centre. No doubt it will all be sorted by the time Im going to Thailand.
